Moses gives speeches about laws and the importance of following God before the Israelites enter the Promised Land.

Chapter 3

KJV - Deuteronomy 3:16

And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;

I gave half of the valley between the rivers Arnon and Jabbok to the people of Reuben and Gad from the area of Gilead. This was their boundary, and it also marked the border of the Ammonites' land.
