Chapter 26

KJV - Deuteronomy 26:18

And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;

Today, the Lord has chosen you to be his special people, just like he promised, and he wants you to follow all his rules.
