KJV - Acts 12:3
And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
So, when Jesus saw that the Jews liked what was happening, he continued and also targeted Peter. This happened during the time when no yeast was used in food.
