1 Samuel

Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 19

KJV - 1 Samuel 19:9

And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.

The bad spirit came from God to Saul while he was sitting at home with his spear. At the same time, David was playing with his hand.
