←Back to VersesAnd Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin, but he slipped away out of Saul’s presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.
Saul tried to throw a spear at David, but David quickly moved out of the way and the spear hit the wall instead. David then ran away and safely left that place at night.
