1 Samuel

Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 13

KJV - 1 Samuel 13:9

And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

Saul asked for a sacrifice to be brought to him, both burnt and peace offerings. He then offered the burnt sacrifice.
