Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 13

KJV - 1 Samuel 13:14

But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.

But now your rule won't last: the Lord found a person who truly loves Him, and He told this person to lead His people. This happened because you didn't follow the Lord's commands.
