Rehoboam was forty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD did choose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah an Ammonitess. Rehoboam, Solomon's son, ruled Judah. He started ruling at 41 years old and reigned for 17 years in Jerusalem. This city was chosen by the LORD among all Israel tribes for His name to be there. Rehoboam's mother was Naamah from Ammon.
