Starts with King Solomon's reign, his wisdom, and building the temple, then the kingdom dividing into Israel and Judah.

Chapter 1

KJV - 1 Kings 1:37

As the LORD hath been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord king David.

Just as the LORD has been with King David, may He also be with Solomon and make his throne more prominent than David's.
