Amos 1:11
←Back to VersesThus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:
So says the Lord: Because of Edom's three sins, and a fourth one too, I won't hold back punishment. He chased his brother with a sword, showed no mercy, had constant anger, and held onto his fury forever.
