1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.

*If he offers a peace offering sacrifice from the cattle, whether it's a boy or girl, it must be flawless and presented to the LORD.

2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

*He will place his hand on the offering's head and kill it at the entrance of the congregation's tabernacle. Then, Aaron's priest sons will spread the blood around the altar.

3 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

*And he will give from the peace offering sacrifice a fire offering to God: the fat covering the internal organs and all the fat on the organs.

4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

*And remove the two kidneys, along with the fat around them near the sides, and the membrane over the liver, all together.

5 And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

*Aaron's children will burn it on the altar along with the burnt offering, which is on the wood in the fire. This is a special gift to God that smells good when burned.

6 And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

*If someone gives a peace offering to God from their sheep, whether male or female, it must be flawless.

7 If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.

*If he gives a lamb for his sacrifice, he must present it to God.

8 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

*He will place his hand on the offering's head and then kill it near the group's dwelling place. After that, Aaron's children will spread the blood around the altar.

9 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

*He will give a part of the peace offering sacrifice, which is burned for the Lord. He will remove the fat and the entire rump area close to the backbone, as well as the fat covering the organs and all the fat on the organs.

10 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

*And remove the two kidneys, along with the fat on them near the sides, and the liver cover, all together with the kidneys.

11 And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD.

*The priest will burn it on the altar; it's the food for the offering, cooked by fire for God.

12 And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.

*If his gift is a goat, he must present it to God.

13 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.

*He will place his hand on its head and then kill it in front of the people's dwelling place. The sons of Aaron will spread its blood around the altar.

14 And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

*He will present his sacrifice, a fire offering to God. This includes the fat covering the internal organs and all the fat on top of them.

15 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

*And remove the two kidneys, along with the fat on them near the sides, and the liver cover, all together with the kidneys.

16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the LORD’s.

*The priest will burn them on the altar. This is an offering cooked by fire, giving a pleasant smell. All the fat belongs to the LORD.

17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

*This rule will always stay for your family everywhere you live - don't eat unhealthy fats or blood.
