Leviticus

*If someone sins by hearing a swear and is a witness, but doesn't tell anyone about it, they will be guilty.

*If someone touches something dirty, like a dead animal or a dirty insect, even if they don't see it, they will become unclean and responsible for it.

*If he touches any kind of impurity from a person and doesn't know about it, but later finds out, then he will be responsible for the wrongdoing.

*If someone swears to do something bad or good using their lips, whatever they promise as an oath, if it's hidden from them but later becomes known, then they will be guilty in this matter.

*If he is guilty of one of these actions, he will admit that he has done wrong in that specific thing.

*He must give the Lord a sin offering for his wrongdoing - a female animal from the flock, like a lamb or young goat. The priest will then forgive his sin.

*If someone can't afford a lamb, they should bring two birds, like doves or young pigeons, to make up for their mistake. One bird is for a sin offering and the other is for a burnt offering to God.

*And he will take them to the priest, who will first sacrifice the part for the sin offering. The priest will then cut off its head but not split it in two.

*He will put some of the sin offering's blood on the altar's side. The rest of the blood will be drained at the bottom of the altar. It is a sin offering.

*He will give the second one as a sacrifice, following the proper way. The priest will then forgive his sin, and he will be forgiven.

*But if he can't get two turtledoves or two young pigeons, the person who sinned should bring as his offering one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour. This flour has no oil or frankincense on it because it is a sin offering.

*Then, the person will give it to the priest, who will take a small part of it as a reminder and burn it on the altar. This is done in the way of sacrifices offered by burning for the Lord; it is a sin offering.

*The priest will help him by making up for his wrongdoing in one of these things, and he will be forgiven. The leftover part will then belong to the priest as a type of food offering.

*And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

*If someone makes a mistake and sins unknowingly in the holy things of God, they must offer a flawless ram from their flock as a sacrifice. The value of the ram should be based on its size and weight, following the standards of the sanctuary shekel. This offering is to make up for the sin.

*He must fix what he did wrong in the sacred thing, add one-fifth to it, and give it to the priest. The priest will then use a sacrifice to forgive him, and his sins will be forgiven.

*If someone sins and does something against the LORD's commands, even if they didn't know, they are still guilty and must face the consequences of their actions.

*He will bring a perfect ram from the flock, based on your measurement, as a sacrifice to the priest for his mistake. The priest will then make amends for his unintentional error, and he will be forgiven.

*This is an offering for wrongdoing: he has definitely done something wrong against God.
