Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Simple English
So, the Jews wanted to kill him even more because he broke the Sabbath rules and claimed that God was his Father, which meant he was equal to God.
