And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

I didn't know him, but the one who sent me for water baptism told me that the person where you see the Spirit coming down and staying is the one who gives the Holy Spirit through baptism.
