Moses gives speeches about laws and the importance of following God before the Israelites enter the Promised Land.

Chapter 5

KJV - Deuteronomy 5:25

Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.

So, why should we die? This big fire will destroy us. If we keep hearing the voice of the Lord our God, we will surely die.
