1 Samuel

Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 2

KJV - 1 Samuel 2:35

And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

I will choose a loyal priest who follows what's in my thoughts and feelings. I will give him a strong, lasting home, and he will always serve my chosen one forever.
