←Back to VersesSo the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; which went out, and fell upon him, that he died. And the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.
So, the king told Benaiah, son of Jehoiada, to do it, and he attacked him, so he died. Then Solomon got full control of the kingdom.
