Describes a time when Israel was ruled by judges and the cycle of turning away from God, facing trouble, and then returning to Him.

Chapter 8

KJV - Judges 8:20

And he said unto Jether his firstborn, Up, and slay them. But the youth drew not his sword: for he feared, because he was yet a youth.

He told his oldest son, Jether, to kill them. But the young man didn't take out his sword because he was afraid since he was still young.
