Describes a time when Israel was ruled by judges and the cycle of turning away from God, facing trouble, and then returning to Him.

Chapter 8

KJV - Judges 8:11

And Gideon went up by the way of them that dwelt in tents on the east of Nobah and Jogbehah, and smote the host: for the host was secure.

Gideon approached the area where nomads lived east of Nobah and Jogbehah. He attacked their camp because they were not alert or cautious.
