Back to ChaptersKJV - Esther 8:1 On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews’ enemy unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her. On that day, King Ahasuerus gave Haman's house to Esther, the queen, as it belonged to the Jews' enemy. Mordecai then met with the king because Esther informed him about Mordecai's role in their story.
