KJV - Ecclesiastes 10:1
Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.
When a small amount of rotten flies ruin a perfume maker's good smell, it's like how a tiny bit of foolishness can spoil the reputation of someone who is known to be wise and honorable.
