Proverbs 25:20
As he that taketh away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon nitre, so is he that singeth songs to an heavy heart.
Simple English
Just like taking away a warm blanket in the cold or mixing vinegar with nitre, singing songs to someone with a heavy heart is not helpful.
