Esther

Tells how Queen Esther saves the Jews from being destroyed in Persia.

Chapter 9

KJV - Esther 9:17

On the thirteenth day of the month Adar; and on the fourteenth day of the same rested they, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.

On the 13th day of the month Adar, they stopped working. On the 14th day too, they took a break and turned it into a day for celebrating and happiness.
