Back to ChaptersKJV - Deuteronomy 14:21 Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk. Don't eat meat from animals that die on their own. Give it to someone new in your town so they can eat it, or sell it to someone from another place. You are a special people belonging to God. Don't cook a young goat in its mother's milk.
