1 Samuel

Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 9

KJV - 1 Samuel 9:8

And the servant answered Saul again, and said, Behold, I have here at hand the fourth part of a shekel of silver: that will I give to the man of God, to tell us our way.

The servant replied to Saul once more, saying, "I have right here a quarter of a silver dollar. I'll give it to the prophet so he can guide us on our path."
