Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
Simple English
Having a clear conscience; so when people say bad things about you like you're a wrongdoer, they will feel embarrassed for accusing you wrongly of having a good behavior in Christ.
