Chapter 17

KJV - 1 Kings 17:5

So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

So he followed the Lord's instructions; he moved to live near the Cherith Brook, which is located upstream from the Jordan River.
