Calls for faithfulness and foretells the coming of a messenger to prepare the way for the Lord.

Chapter 2

KJV - Malachi 2:13

And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

You did this again, making the Lord's altar covered in tears, sadness, and loud cries. So much so, that He no longer accepts the offering or receives it happily from your hands.
