Calls for faithfulness and foretells the coming of a messenger to prepare the way for the Lord.

Chapter 1

KJV - Malachi 1:11

For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

From sunrise to sunset, my name will be respected among non-Jewish people. Offerings will be made to me in all places, as I am known and honored among those far away, says the Lord of all.
