←Back to VersesAnd the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon.
God's anger grew strong against Israel, so he gave them to the Philistines and the descendants of Ammon to be controlled by them.
