Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

Jude, a helper of Jesus, and brother of James, greets those made holy by God, kept safe in Jesus, and named as such.

Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

May you have more kindness, peace, and love.

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Dear friends, when I tried my best to write to you about the shared salvation, it was important for me to encourage you to fiercely defend the faith that was passed down to the saints.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Some sneaky people have secretly entered, who were chosen long ago for punishment. They are impious people who change God's kindness into wickedness and deny only one true God, our Lord Jesus Christ.

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

I will remind you because you used to know this: after the Lord saved the people from Egypt, he later destroyed those who did not believe in him.

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Angels who didn't follow the rules and left their home have been locked in eternal chains in darkness until the big final judgment day.

Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Just like Sodom and Gomorrah and the other nearby cities, who let themselves do bad things like having sex with people they shouldn't and wanting others they didn't know, they are shown as a warning. They now suffer from a very bad fire that never goes away.

Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Similarly, these unclean people pollute the body, disrespect authority, and talk badly about important people.

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Michael, the main angel, argued with the devil over Moses' body and didn't say anything mean. Instead, he told the devil, "The Lord should correct you."

But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

They criticize things they don't understand, but they act like animals by doing bad things that they do know.

Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Oh no! They chose the path of Cain, eagerly followed Balaam's mistakes for rewards, and ended up failing due to disagreements about Core.

These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

These are flaws in your acts of kindness celebrations, when they join you, eating without worry: they're like dry clouds without water, moved by winds; they're also barren trees with no fruit, useless twice, uprooted from the ground.

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

And Enoch, the seventh generation from Adam, said about them, "Look, the Lord will come with tens of thousands of his holy people.

To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

This verse means that God judges everyone to show that bad people did wrong things and said mean things against Him.

These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.

This verse says that some people constantly complain and follow their own desires. They talk a lot using big, impressive words. They also admire others because it benefits them.

But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

But, dear friends, remember the words the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ said before.

How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

They said that in the end, there would be people who make fun of others and follow their own wicked desires.

These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

These are the ones who separate themselves, focused on physical desires, without the guidance of the Spirit.

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

But you, dear ones, strengthen yourselves with your purest faith, and pray using the power of the Holy Spirit.

Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Stay in God's love and wait for Jesus's mercy to reach everlasting life.

And of some have compassion, making a difference:

Be kind to certain people, treating them differently:

And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

And some rescue people, scared, taking them from the fire; they also dislike anything connected to sin.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

Now to the one who can stop you from stumbling and show you without flaw before the brightness of his greatness, with immense happiness.

To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

To the one true God who saves us, give glory and greatness, control and strength. This is true now and always. Yes.
