A prophet runs from God's call to preach to Nineveh but learns about mercy when the city repents.

Chapter 3

KJV - Jonah 3:4

And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

Jonah walked into the city a day's distance and shouted, "In 40 days, Nineveh will be destroyed."
