Urges believers to stand firm in the freedom Christ has given and not return to the law for salvation.

Chapter 3

KJV - Galatians 3:16

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

The promise was given to Abraham and his single descendant. It doesn't refer to many descendants, but specifically to one - Christ.
