Ezra

Describes the return of the Jews from Babylonian exile and the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem.

Chapter 1

KJV - Ezra 1:7

Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;

Cyrus the king took the sacred objects from Jerusalem that Nebuchadnezzar had taken before and placed them in a temple for his own gods. He then returned them to the LORD's house.
