*Then, after these events, I saw another angel descend from heaven with immense power. The Earth shone brightly due to his glory.

*He shouted loudly, saying, "Babylon, the great city, has fallen and is now where bad spirits live, along with all kinds of ugly and hated birds."

*All countries have been affected by the anger caused by this nation's immorality, and the world's rulers have been involved with her, while the traders have become wealthy from her many valuable goods.

*I heard a voice from the sky saying, "Leave her, my people. Don't join in her wrongdoings and don't suffer her punishments."

*Her sins are very serious and have caught God's attention because of her wrong actions.

*Reward her just like she rewarded you, give her twice as much based on what she did. Fill the cup she filled to the brim, then add more.

*The more she boasts and enjoys luxury, the more she will suffer and be sad. She believes in her heart that she is a queen, not a widow, and won't experience any pain.

*So, her punishments will happen all at once - death, sadness, and hunger. She'll be destroyed by fire. This happens because the powerful God is the one judging her.

*The rulers of the world, who had sex with her and enjoyed her luxuries, will cry for her and mourn when they see the smoke from her being destroyed.

*Staying far away because of her suffering, they said sadly, "Oh, oh, great and powerful city Babylon! Your punishment has come suddenly in just one hour."

*Merchants will cry and be sad because no one will buy their things anymore.

*Gold, silver, and valuable stones, pearls, fine cloth, colorful fabrics like purple and silk, scarlet material, and all your cinnamon wood, along with various ivory items, different objects made from the most expensive wood, and metal things like brass, iron, and marble.

*And cinnamon, fragrant things, special perfumes, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, animals, sheep, horses, chariots, people for sale, and human souls.

*The desires of your soul have left you, and all the nice and beautiful things have also gone away, and you won't find them ever again.

*The people who got rich from her will stay far away because they are scared of her pain. They will cry and scream.

*Saying sadly, oh sadness, for that big city dressed in nice linen, purple, red fabric, and decorated with gold, valuable gems, and pearls.

*In just one hour, a huge amount of wealth disappeared. All ship captains, people on boats, sailors, and those who do business at sea stayed far away.

*They shouted as they saw the smoke from the burning city, asking, "Which city is like this big city?"

*They threw dust on their heads, crying while sad, "Oh, oh, great city! You made many people wealthy because of your valuable ships. But now, in just one hour, you are destroyed."

*Celebrate over her, heaven and holy messengers and seers; for God has avenged you through her.

*A powerful angel picked up a huge stone, like a big grinding wheel, and threw it into the sea. He said, "Just like this, the big city called Babylon will be destroyed violently and won't be found anymore."

*there will be no more music from harpers, musicians, pipers, and trumpeters. No craftsmen of any kind will be found either. And you won't hear the sound of millstones grinding anymore.

*The candle's light will not shine anymore in you, and there will be no more bridegroom or bride's voices. This is because your powerful leaders deceived the whole world with their magic.

*In her, they discovered the blood of prophets, holy people, and everyone killed on Earth.
