Chapter 1

KJV - Lamentations 1:11

All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile.

Everyone she leads is sad, searching for food. They've traded their treasures for meat to comfort their spirits. Lord, watch and think about it. I feel so unworthy now.
