Chapter 19

KJV: And the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

Geneva: And the second lot came out to Simeon, euen for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was in the middes of the inheritance of the children of Iudah.

KJV: And they had in their inheritance Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

Geneva: Nowe they had in their inheritance, Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

KJV: And Hazarshual, and Balah, and Azem,

Geneva: And Hazur-shual, and Balah, and Azem,

KJV: And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

KJV: And Ziklag, and Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusah,

KJV: And Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages:

Geneva: And Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteene cities with their villages.

KJV: Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:

Geneva: Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan: foure cities with their villages.

KJV: And all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalathbeer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

Geneva: And all the villages that were round about these cities, vnto Baalathbeer, & Ramath Southward: this is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

KJV: Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.

Geneva: Out of the portion of the children of Iudah came ye inheritance of the childre of Simeon: for the part of ye children of Iudah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within their inheritance.

KJV: And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:

Geneva: Also the third lot arose for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the coastes of their inheritance came to Sarid,

KJV: And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam;

Geneva: And their border goeth vp Westwarde, euen to Maralah, and reacheth to Dabbasheth, and meeteth with the riuer that lyeth before Iokneam,

KJV: And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chislothtabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia,

Geneva: And turneth from Sarid Eastward towarde the sunne rising vnto the border of Chisloth-tabor, and goeth out to Daberath, and ascendeth to Iaphia,

KJV: And from thence passeth on along on the east to Gittahhepher, to Ittahkazin, and goeth out to Remmonmethoar to Neah;

Geneva: And from thence goeth along Eastwarde towarde the sunne rising to Gittah-hepher to Ittah-kazin, and goeth foorth to Rimmon, and turneth to Neah.

KJV: And the border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthahel:

Geneva: And this border compasseth it on ye North side to Hannathon, and the endes thereof are in the valley of Iiphtah-el,

KJV: And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.

KJV: This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

KJV: And the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.

Geneva: The fourth lot came out to Issachar, euen for the children of Issachar according to their families.

KJV: And their border was toward Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

Geneva: And their coast was Izreelah, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

KJV: And Haphraim, and Shihon, and Anaharath,

Geneva: And Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,

KJV: And Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,

Geneva: And Harabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,

KJV: And Remeth, and Engannim, and Enhaddah, and Bethpazzez;

Geneva: And Remeth, and En-gannim, and Enhaddah, and Beth-pazzez.

KJV: And the coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Bethshemesh; and the outgoings of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

Geneva: And this coast reacheth to Tabor, & Shahazimath, and Beth-shemesh, and the endes of their coast reach to Iorden: sixteene cities with their villages.

KJV: This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.

KJV: And their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,

Geneva: And their coast was Helcath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,

KJV: And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reacheth to Carmel westward, and to Shihorlibnath;

Geneva: And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal, and came to Carmel Westward, and to Shihor Libnath,

KJV: And turneth toward the sunrising to Bethdagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthahel toward the north side of Bethemek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,

Geneva: And turneth towarde the sunne rising to Beth-dagon, and commeth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Iiphtah-el, toward the Northside of Beth-emek, and Neiel, and goeth out on the left side of Cabul,

KJV: And Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even unto great Zidon;

Geneva: And to Ebron, and Rehob, & Hammon, and Kanah, vnto great Zidon.

KJV: And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:

Geneva: Then the coast turneth to Ramah and to the strong citie of Zor, and this border turneth to Hosah, & the ends thereof are at the Sea from Hebel to Achzib,

KJV: Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty and two cities with their villages.

Geneva: Vmmah also and Aphek, and Rehob: two and twentie cities with their villages.

KJV: This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Geneva: This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families: that is, these cities and their villages.

KJV: The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

Geneva: The sixt lot came out to the children of Naphtali, euen to the children of Naphtali according to their families.

KJV: And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan:

Geneva: And their coast was from Heleph, and from Allon in Zaanannim, and Adaminekeb, and Iabneel, euen to Lakum, and the ends thereof are at Iorden.

KJV: And then the coast turneth westward to Aznothtabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising.

Geneva: So this coast turneth Westwarde to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the Southside, and goeth to Asher on the Westside, and to Iudah by Iorden toward the sunne rising.

KJV: And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

Geneva: And the strong cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Cinnereth,

KJV: And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

KJV: And Kedesh, and Edrei, and Enhazor,

KJV: And Iron, and Migdalel, Horem, and Bethanath, and Bethshemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

Geneva: And Iron, and Migdal-el, Horem, & Beth-anah, and Beth-shemesh: nineteene cities with their villages.

KJV: This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.

KJV: And the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

Geneva: The seuenth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

KJV: And the coast of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Irshemesh,

KJV: And Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,

Geneva: And Shaalabbin, and Aiialon, and Ithlah,

KJV: And Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,

KJV: And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

KJV: And Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gathrimmon,

Geneva: And Iehud, and Bene-berak, and Gath-rimmon,

KJV: And Mejarkon, and Rakkon, with the border before Japho.

Geneva: And Me-iarkon, and Rakkon, with the border that lieth before Iapho.

KJV: And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

Geneva: But the coastes of the children of Dan fell out too litle for them: therefore the children of Dan went vp to fight against Leshem, & tooke it, and smote it with the edge of the sworde, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, & called Leshem, Dan after the name of Dan their father.

KJV: This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Geneva: This is the inheritance of the tribe of the childre of Dan according to their families: that is, these cities and their villages.

KJV: When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:

Geneva: When they had made an ende of deuiding the lande by the coastes thereof, then the children of Israel gaue an inheritance vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun among them.

KJV: According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.

Geneva: According to the worde of the Lord they gaue him the citie which hee asked, euen Timnath-serah in mount Ephraim: and hee built the citie and dwelt therein.

KJV: These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.

Geneva: These are ye heritages which Eleazar the Priest, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun, & the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel deuided by lot in Shiloh before the Lorde at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation: so they made an ende of deuiding the countrey.
