Chapter 9

KJV - Exodus 9:11

And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.

The magicians couldn't face Moses due to the skin diseases; these diseases were on the magicians and everyone in Egypt.
