1 John

Assures believers of eternal life through faith in Jesus and commands love for God and one another.

Chapter 1

KJV - 1 John 1:2

(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

The life was shown to us, and we saw it. We can testify about this eternal life that was always with the Father, and has been revealed to us.
