Cosmicweb

The Cosmic Web is a term used in cosmology to describe the large-scale structure of the universe, which is characterized by the distribution of matter in a web-like pattern. This structure consists of dense regions of matter, such as galaxy clusters and superclusters, connected by filaments of galaxies and separated by vast voids. The Cosmic Web is a fundamental concept in understanding the formation and evolution of the universe. In Hebrew, it is known as רשת הקוסמוס. The term is also translated in other languages, such as Red Cósmica in Spanish, Toile Cosmique in French, and Kosmisches Netz in German. This intricate structure is a result of the gravitational interactions and the initial density fluctuations in the early universe, which have evolved over billions of years to form the complex pattern observed today.
