Hidden Sephira

A Hidden Sephira (Hebrew: ספירה נסתרת, Sephirah Nistartit) refers to an esoteric concept within Kabbalah, the Jewish mystical tradition. The term "Sephira" (Hebrew: ספירה, Sephirah) generally denotes one of the ten emanations or attributes through which the divine energy manifests in the process of creation. A "Hidden Sephira" implies an emanation that is not explicitly enumerated among the ten classic Sephirot but is considered to exist in a concealed or subtle form. This concept is often explored in deeper layers of Kabbalistic thought, particularly in the study of the Tree of Life (Hebrew: עץ החיים, Etz HaChayim), where the ten visible Sephirot are interconnected by pathways that may include hidden or additional emanations. The idea of a Hidden Sephira can also be found in other mystical traditions, such as in the Hermetic Qabalah, where it may be referred to in Latin as Sephira Occulta or in French as Sephira Cachée.
