Revelation

In the beginning, John, an exiled apostle, was given a vision of God and His throne in heaven. Surrounded by twenty-four elders and four living creatures, God spoke to John about the seven seals that would bring forth the end times. The first seal unleashed a white horse rider symbolizing conquest. Famine followed with the second seal, represented by a red horse. War was the third seal, signified by a black horse and a sword. The fourth seal brought death, symbolized by a pale horse.

The fifth seal revealed the souls of those who had been slain for their faith. They cried out to God for vengeance. The sixth seal was torn open, causing earthquakes, sun turning dark, moon turning red, and stars falling from the sky. People hid in fear as they begged for the mountains to cover them.

The seventh seal led to seven angels with trumpets. The first angel blew his trumpet, releasing hail and fire upon the earth. A third of the trees and all green grass were burned. The second angel's trumpet brought a burning mountain that fell into the sea, turning it into blood. A third of marine life died, and men could not drink the water.

The third angel's trumpet caused a star named Wormwood to fall from the sky, contaminating the waters of the rivers and springs. Many people died from drinking the poisoned water. The fourth angel's trumpet brought a scorching wind that burned men with fire. They were tormented by the smoke and ash.

The fifth angel's trumpet summoned locusts, who tortured those without the seal of God on their foreheads for five months. The sixth angel's trumpet released four angels who bound the river Euphrates, preparing for the army of the East to cross over. The seventh and final trumpet announced the coming of God and His kingdom. All creation rejoiced as they praised Him.
