Habakkuk

In the book of Habakkuk, a prophet named Habakkuk converses with God about the state of Judah and the world. In the beginning, Habakkuk expresses his concern over the violence and wickedness in Judah. He asks God why He allows such things to happen. God responds by revealing that He is raising up the Babylonians as a punishment for Judah's sins.
