1 How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince’s daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman.

Your feet look lovely in shoes, princess! Your thighs are like precious gems, skillfully made by a talented craftsman.

2 Thy navel is like a round goblet, which wanteth not liquor: thy belly is like an heap of wheat set about with lilies.

Your belly button is like a round cup that never lacks drink, and your stomach is like a pile of wheat surrounded by lilies.

3 Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins.

Your two breasts are like two baby deer that look exactly the same.

4 Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.

Your neck is like an ivory tower, and your eyes are like fish pools in Heshbon near the Bathrabbim gate. Your nose is like the Lebanon tower looking towards Damascus.

5 Thine head upon thee is like Carmel, and the hair of thine head like purple; the king is held in the galleries.

Your head is like Mount Carmel, and your hair is like purple color; the king is honored in the special rooms.

6 How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!

You are so beautiful and enjoyable, love, for pleasures!

7 This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes.

Your height is like a palm tree, and your breasts are like bunches of grapes.

8 I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;

I said, I will climb the palm tree and grab its branches. Now, your breasts will be like grape clusters, and your smell will be like apples.

9 And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak.

And your mouth's roof is like the best wine for my love, going down smoothly. It makes the lips of sleeping people talk.

10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.

I belong to my lover, and he longs for me.

11 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.

Come, dear one, let's go out to the open space; let's stay in the small towns.

12 Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.

Let's wake up early for the vineyards. Let's check if the vines are growing well, and if small grapes are showing up. Also, let's see if pomegranate buds appear. That's where I will show you my love.

13 The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

The mandrakes have a scent, and at our entrance, we have many tasty fruits, both new and old, that I saved just for you, dear one.
