KJV: Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

Geneva: Nowe Peter and Iohn went vp together into the Temple, at the ninth houre of prayer.

KJV: And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

Geneva: And a certaine ma which was a creeple fro his mothers wombe, was caried, whom they layde dayly at the gate of the Temple called Beautifull, to aske almes of them that entred into ye Temple.

KJV: Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

Geneva: Who seeing Peter & Iohn, that they would enter into the Temple, desired to receiue an almes.

KJV: And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

Geneva: And Peter earnestly beholding him with Iohn, said, Looke on vs.

KJV: And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

Geneva: And hee gaue heede vnto them, trusting to receiue some thing of them.

KJV: Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Geneva: Then said Peter, Siluer & gold haue I none, but such as I haue, that giue I thee: In the Name of Iesus Christ of Nazareth, rise vp and walke.

KJV: And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

Geneva: And hee tooke him by the right hand, and lift him vp, and immediately his feete and ankle bones receiued strength.

KJV: And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Geneva: And he leaped vp, stoode, and walked, and entred with them into the Temple, walking and leaping, and praysing God.

KJV: And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

Geneva: And all the people sawe him walke, and praysing God.

KJV: And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

Geneva: And they knewe him, that it was he which sate for the almes at the Beautifull gate of the Temple: and they were amased, and sore astonied at that, which was come vnto him.

KJV: And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

Geneva: And as the creeple which was healed, held Peter & Iohn, all the people ranne amased vnto them in the porch which is called Solomos.

KJV: And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

Geneva: So when Peter saw it, he answered vnto the people, Ye me of Israel, why marueile ye at this? or why looke ye so stedfastly on vs, as though by our owne power or godlines, we had made this ma go?

KJV: The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

Geneva: The God of Abraham, & Isaac, and Iacob, the God of our fathers hath glorified his Sonne Iesus, whom ye betrayed, & denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had iudged him to be deliuered.

KJV: But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

Geneva: But ye denied the Holy one and the Iust, and desired a murtherer to be giuen you,

KJV: And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Geneva: And killed the Lorde of life, whome God hath raised fro the dead, whereof we are witnesses.

KJV: And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Geneva: And his Name hath made this man sound, whom ye see, & know, through faith in his Name: and the faith which is by him, hath giuen to him this perfite health of his whole body in the presence of you all.

KJV: And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

Geneva: And now brethren, I know that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your gouernours.

KJV: But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

Geneva: But those thinges which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his Prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath thus fulfilled.

KJV: Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Geneva: Amend your liues therefore, and turne, that your sinnes may be put away, whe the time of refreshing shal come from the presence of the Lord.

KJV: And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Geneva: And he shall sende Iesus Christ, which before was preached vnto you,

KJV: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Geneva: Whome the heauen must containe vntill the time that all thinges be restored, which God had spoken by the mouth of all his holy Prophets since the world began.

KJV: For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

Geneva: For Moses said vnto the Fathers, The Lord your God shall raise vp vnto you a Prophet, euen of your brethren, like vnto me: ye shal heare him in all things, whatsoeuer he shal say vnto you.

KJV: And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Geneva: For it shalbe that euery person which shall not heare that Prophet, shall be destroyed out of the people.

KJV: Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Geneva: Also all the Prophets from Samuel, and thencefoorth as many as haue spoken, haue likewise foretolde of these dayes.

KJV: Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Geneva: Ye are the children of the Prophets, and of the couenant, which God hath made vnto our fathers, saying to Abraham, Euen in thy seede shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

KJV: Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Geneva: First vnto you hath God raysed vp his Sonne Iesus, and him hee hath sent to blesse you, in turning euery one of you from your iniquities.
