Zephaniah

Warns of coming judgment but promises joy for those who seek God.

Chapter 1

KJV - Zephaniah 1:4

I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;

I will reach out my hand towards Judah and everyone in Jerusalem. I will remove the last bits of Baal and the name of the Chemarims along with the priests.
