KJV: And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

Geneva: And when the Sabbath day was past, Marie Magdalene, and Marie the mother of Iames, and Salome, bought sweete oyntments, that they might come, and anoynt him.

KJV: And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

Geneva: Therefore early in the morning, the first day of the weeke, they came vnto the sepulchre, when the Sunne was nowe risen.

KJV: And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

Geneva: And they saide one to another, Who shall rolle vs away the stone from the doore of the sepulchre?

KJV: And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

Geneva: And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away (for it was a very great one)

KJV: And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

Geneva: So they went into the sepulchre, and saw a yong man sitting at the right side, clothed in a long white robe: and they were sore troubled.

KJV: And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

Geneva: But he said vnto them, Be not so troubled: ye seeke Iesus of Nazareth, which hath bene crucified: he is risen, he is not here: behold the place where they put him.

KJV: But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

Geneva: But goe your way, and tell his disciples, and Peter, that he will goe before you into Galile: there shall ye see him, as he said vnto you.

KJV: And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

Geneva: And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre: for they trembled, and were amased: neither said they any thing to any man: for they were afraide.

KJV: Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Geneva: And when Iesus was risen againe, early the first day of the weeke, he appeared first to Marie Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seuen deuils:

KJV: And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

Geneva: And shee went and tolde them that had bene with him, which mourned and wept.

KJV: And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

Geneva: And when they heard that he was aliue, and had appeared to her, they beleeued it not.

KJV: After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.

Geneva: After that, he appeared vnto two of them in an other forme, as they walked and went into the countrey.

KJV: And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.

Geneva: And they went, and told it to the remnant, neither beleeued they them.

KJV: Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

Geneva: Finally, he appeared vnto the eleuen as they sate together, and reproched them for their vnbeliefe and hardnesse of heart, because they beleeued not them which had seene him, being risen vp againe.

KJV: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Geneva: And he saide vnto them, Goe ye into all the worlde, and preach the Gospel to euery creature.

KJV: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Geneva: He that shall beleeue and be baptized, shalbe saued: but he that will not beleeue, shalbe damned.

KJV: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Geneva: And these tokens shall folowe them that beleeue, In my Name they shall cast out deuils, and shall speake with newe tongues,

KJV: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Geneva: And shall take away serpents, and if they shall drinke any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lay their handes on the sicke, and they shall recouer.

KJV: So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Geneva: So after ye Lord had spoken vnto them, he was receiued into heauen, & sate at the right hand of God.

KJV: And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Geneva: And they went foorth, and preached euery where; the Lorde wrought with them, and confirmed the worde with signes that folowed. Amen.
