Describes a time when Israel was ruled by judges and the cycle of turning away from God, facing trouble, and then returning to Him.

Chapter 6

KJV - Judges 6:3

And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;

So when Israel planted their seeds, the people from Midian, Amalek, and the eastern tribes arrived to attack them.
