Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
Simple English
Jesus asked him, "Will you give up your life for me?" He replied earnestly, "Absolutely, I won't deny you three times before the rooster crows."
