←Back to VersesThen took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
Mary got a very expensive bottle of spikenard oil and used it to massage Jesus' feet, then she wiped his feet with her hair. The whole house smelled wonderful because of the oil.
